Catching Jets Fever ... and a snowman's torso

Wishes of a merry Christmas Eve Eve are in order today, and, as such, I've unfortunately got no time to deliver on my prior promise of a new post today. Shopping for Christmas gifts (of which I've bought exactly one to this point) and the actual job must take precedence on this day during which a Santa-imposed deadline hovers. We'll be back here later in the week.

That said, my wish for Sunday's football games goes something like this, with the Patriots, Dolphins and Jaguars all winning, and New England getting a chance to play its playoff opener at Dolphins Stadium — where they last month put up 48 points rather easily. But I don't think that's how it's going to play out. Methinks the Ravens beat the Jags, and therefore the Pats' only hope for a postseason berth comes down to those wonderful New York Jets pulling through againt Miami. Thus, pull on your fireman's hat, grab a green shirt, and ready to spell four-letter words all afternoon in support of Mangenius and the boys.

Clearly, they're a group worth rooting for:

(There's another view on the sidebar to the left of this page. Merry Christmas, everybody.)
